Looking back while playing one of my absolute favorite games of all time, I realize that I've never had a Radiata Stories avatar. But now I do. And what better choice than Natalie Nanette to fit with my harem avatars?

I recently went to a local art gallery opening with my besest dyke friend. And when I say 'recently', I mean like a month ago. In any case, I found this absolutely amazing painting and snapped a picture of it with my phone.



It's called 'The City of Hallow Souls'. I can't remember the artist's name unfortunately, I'll have to find the pamphlet I picked up from the gallery. I met him at the curator's house later, where I got tipsy from three glasses of red wine. Since meeting someone who's work I admire fills me with dread, I said almost nothing and probably came off as an arrogant jackass. He however, mentioned that the was inspired by loosing his parents in bombings in WW2, but that it's ultimately positive, which is why the figure is drawn as a bird of paradise. He said it was about looking at the bright side of life and staying positive in the face of adversary and horror. He was an orphan in either Germany or a surrounding country, I sadly can't recall, for awhile, but came to America at a young age. The two skulls in the box are those of his parents. Honestly, I can barely remember. I'll have to check my tape recorder archives.
