Awesome, this means an official showing is possible for Fanime! :boingy:

Very happy that it's going to be 2.22 and not 2.02 or whatever.

Well it's about time.

Why the name change to 2.22 if that's the only version they're releasing?

Because it implies that they're skipping the #.0# release and going straight to the #.## release (1.0 on DVD had 1.01 and 1.11).

Probably also because sometime in the future they'll make us shell out a couple of dozen bucks for the special golden ultra special release with 2.0, 2.1 and whatever else they can come up with. Milking the cash cow!

i also think its stupid, if they keep it internally fine, but since its the only version being sold, why bother ?

Because they started the process with 1.0 (1.0 being the theatrical version, they want to distinguish which version with the DVD/Blu-Ray releases)?

There are changes between the theatrical versus DVD versions anyway, so it's a nice way to keep track of what's what.

So 2.0 comes out in May? Why do Japanese movies take so long to comeout? Is the movie still playing in Japan or something?

Lord of the Rings took just about as long to be released on DVD if I recall correctly...theatre release in December and DVD release in August.

One day before my birthday, too.

If this is the official release date that is.

Either way I'm planning to pre-order it when it pop's up on CDjapan.

Um....what?
We watched 'The Lion King' in my math class once. After it was over, the teacher passed out worksheets that said: "If the circle of life had a diamter of 46 inches..."

Hey, is it me or has the listing for the DVD disappeared?

It could be my laptop but it keeps re-directing me to the front page.

Perhaps because it's not an offical date? I hope Kara will announce something soonish. And hopefully the release will be on or earlier than May 26th instead of later.
