Jet Alone [SPOILERS]

I was thinking that there could be a possibility of Jet Alone appearing in 3.0/Final.

In the main series it only really served as filler, however I think that JA could be incorporated into Rebuild as somewhat of a JSDF super weapon, possibly being piloted by Mari.

SPOILER: Show
I say this because no one is quite sure about Mari's alliance, many people claim she is affiliated with the JSDF and I am sorta on that bandwagon. Also her old Eva is trashed and Asuka will probably get 02 back. So that leaves Mari with a new Eva or like my idea suggests piloting JA or something similar.

With all the stuff left to cover, I don't think there's any time for Jet Alone. But like with everything else, it could be interesting.

I'm not saying add a section "just Jet Alone" in Rebuild but somehow incorporate it into the story or maybe even a FINAL BOSS.

Actually Shinji in Tengen Toppa Evangelion Unit 01 vs. Crazed Mari in Super-mode Jet Alone would be kinda interesting.

This, also Jet Alone isn't piloted from within. It's remote controlled and nuclear powered.

Yes I know, perhaps I should have elaborated on my idea more clearly.

This isn't the same Jet Alone from the series, it would be a JSDF "cousin" if you will that is similar to an Eva except for the fact that it is purely mechanical. It wouldn't have an AT field but could possibly compensate with more advanced armor.

Going against the Evas in a mecha like that wouldn't be a good idea because the armor, even if it is "more advanced", isn't like an A.T. Field and can still be damaged by conventional weapons and I assume an Eva's progressive knife as well.

Mari, with her knowledge of the Evangelion, probably wouldn't even try it.

Now something along the lines of Jet Alone Prime in the Rebuild-verse would probably be a lot more interesting.

Right I was thinking along the lines o Jet Alone Prime. When I say Shinji v. Mari, I was kidding. An Eva would thrash JA, but whose to say JA couldn't take on some Angels or at least assist the Evangelions?

I couldn't really see Jet Alone being able to assist the Evangelions much without an ATF however if they made a few of them they could follow unit 01 around saying "Don't forget to reload Mr. Ikari" and "Sorry Mr. Ikari" when they get bumped into.

The fact that Jet Alone is nuclear powered + the operators lack of knowledge regarding the angels = BIG BOOM!

Problem with that is most of the angel attacks take place in Tokyo-3. Sending JA on a suicide mission to nuke itself would probably destroy all of Tokyo-3, probably part of NERV. I assume the geofront would be safe since it's deep underground.

Also it's to risky. It's a 30/70 chance of being successful.

Now you're just pushing buttons. As seen in both 1.0 and the original series the pilots receive training via virtual reality and testing.

Sounds good to me.

After Zuruel there were only three left in the TV series.
Arael, Armisael, and Tabris.

We already know for a fact Tabris will be in the final movies but I'm not going to say Arael and/or Armisael will be in the final films but if they are going to be in the final two films (along with any new angel that might be thrown in) a Jet Alone suicide tactic will most likely fail (WILL fail if going against Arael for very obvious reasons).

There is most likely not enough time to fit Jet Alone in the remaining Rebuild films and even if they did have enough time they are to deep in the story.

Unless they can launch JA into orbit and penetrate Arael's A.T Field, then self destruct it... yeah Jet Alone is useless.

sigh, oh well

I always thought of Eva Unit 05 as a replacement for Jet Alone.
