I was looking at the old Neon genesis evangelion series and at the end of episode 2 it shows unit 1 without the helmet (remember a big grey thing with a red mouth and green eye?) they didnt show it in evangelion 1.0 so im wondering if they will in 3.0 or 4.0?

You do realize no one here is on production staff nor can anyone predict the future right? There is however a short glimpse of her face in 1.0 when the refit the armor after the initial Ramiel encounter.

You also have to realize that 3.0 and Final wont be following the TV series which was evident with 2.0.Final epsecially since that's an all new movie.

Okay well i thank u for that i didnt catch that in 1.0 but i will how ever go back and check that out becuase im dieing to see a updated animation of unit-1 under the helmet

Not really updated; looks basically the same as in episode 20. (Any pigmentation changes are obscured by the combination of bandages and coolant.)

It's interesting, though, that (as far as I recall) Shinji doesn't exactly get the fact that Eva is biological in Rebuild. Come to think of it, he was never too solid on this in NGE, either, even after it got rubbed in his face in episode 2.

I assume being synced with Eva as often as Shinji is would give you some innate understanding that Eva's not a machine (or just looking at the thing, actually; its proportions in Rebuild are so improbable you wonder why anyone would actually think it's a robot at all), but it's odd that Anno chose not to force the point on Shinji this time around.

One more of those little changes that may be either more significant than they seem or utterly pointless, I guess.

I would like to know what is going to happen to Shinji in 3.0.



I would imagine Shinji is going to have some questions. Or we get Anno-rolled and Shinji wakes up in a hospital with amnesia....

Well she'd definantly look different,in 1.0 after Shinjis brilliant idea of grabbing Shamsham's Wacky Waving Tentacles of Death, Im pretty sure it was shown that her skin was a very pale colour as supposed to brown. It'd be interesting to see her face.
