Yet another idea of Legendary. I was originally going to use Lilith as the Empress, but I figured this idea worked better.

The picture wasn't very clear originally, but I like the way the coloring makes the picture look abstract. It's supposed to be Sachiel's LCL "blood."

chaosakita: I don't think of Rei/Shinji as a couple myself, but them depicted in the lovers card works for their relationship in 1.0 and with Lilith as hell-train Rei I think.

Series version Tarot card icons, whee!

Based on some suggestion's of Teague. Thanks to FadingReminder and Legendary for their help in IRC with some of these. I know these are still on the icon side of things (I apologize for the varying size, I worked with what I had) but whatever, I'm doing this for fun. I'd make Minor Arcana cards, not just Major Arcana, if I knew just where to begin (I know very little about Tarot cards in general, so doing this was interesting).... And although this is just for fun, I did my best to pick characters that fit each description (I also picked character images I that I did so it wouldn't be standard image fare, such as in Shinji's case).

Despite being my favorite shot in the movie (lol), it took me forever to make a good card. I think I ended up making four or five before I found one that I like. Additionally, this card is also called "THE ANGEL."



XXI: THE WORLD - Tokyo-3 with Misato and Shinji

FULFILLMENT/INTEGRATION/SUCCESS/WHOLENESS

This is their world, isn't it? Thank goodness for the brighten feature of Photoshop.

SSD: The empress and emperor are particularly impressive. However Rei is disgustingly distorted.

Rei looks distorted in the actual scene from Eva: Death, but glad you like it.

Alright so I made this...Hopefully it's bit more correct than that version. I mostly used the Pictorial Key to the Tarot as reference.

Ummm what do you mean by "correct"? I took characters and made livejournal sized icons inspired by the tarot. I don't see a way to be correct or incorrect for that.

Sorry, I meant better than the official deck. I originally made mine for a different thread or something, which was later merged.
And by "correct" I meant more in line with the cards' meanings. Though I'm not very satisfied with my choices for Wheel of Fortune, Justice, Devil, and Star.
