I don't like the art style in the first image but I really like the second. Reminds me of Angelic Days art.

I think Lillith would be the King, since if the Angels take Lillith its game over, and she can't really move much ordefend herself...01 would be queen, Kaji and possibly gendo would be knights because they move in mysterious ways...00 and 02 would probaby be rooks...the pawns would be Rei clones...you can work the rest out
