Yeah, but all of that doesn't explain the fact that there are a total of nine votes, with only four people (I don't count, since I can't vote in the poll) actually posting in this topic. In other words, someone outside the RP put negative votes in - probably someone who just doesn't like me in general.

This works with the whole Maya angle do to the fact we're adding more detail to a character who despite the role she played had very little back story and making her the main villain which is a twist that if done right can go nicely with evas nothing is as it seem theme and by making her the recipiente of Lilith dark side this also work into evas occult side and makes for a nice reversal of roles.

That is a good point, well I suppose I'll vote for doing things like that just because that sounds a bit more interesting then maya just snapping. Anyway I didn't vote yet, guess I could go ahead and do that.

I don't really see the race for badassidy either. I haven't really seen Johnson do any fighting yet, Manicorn mostly been having to do her own thing do to her power relative to the rest of us, I've mostly been fighting in a supporting role and Phoenix has been mostly in the back ground do to Vegeta being away. As for the crazy shit, that called sorting through ideas, just because we suggested an idea doesn't mean we're going to use it unless we see an interesting story hook in it. And Vegeta, no offense, but if you have a problem with ideas we're suggesting in the discussion section you need to be more proactive and say something earlier and if you're having a issue with the directions we're going, as the GM you should be giving us story hook ideas so we get to have a choice in what to do while keeping us from running around like idiots.

that's pretty much why I voted "Go For It". To richen the backstory of things, though I still prefer a lot of the Naomi stuff to be subtle in the prequel tale (Such as one of Kaji's objectives is to find the whereabouts of Naomi Mifure & ultimately getting murdered by getting close to finding out the truth of it all, though that shouldn't be revealed until the RP. Also, the JSSDF is ordered to find & capture Naomi alive, if they could find her in Nerv's HQ aside from killing Gendo & preventing him starting Third Impact, though the head of the JSSDF ignores that order & tells his men to just "Kill' em All".)

Before we run away with this, I think we should try to keep most of the rp disscussion in the disscussion thread, otherwise I think this'll turn into a second disscussion thread for the rp which isnt nessecery, lets just keep it focused on the prequal fic.

Anyway as for the badass race, I don't think things are as bad as vegeta says, I just think we could all do with a bit more character development, I'll be getting plenty after the fights over due to various things.

I really need to know who voted and for what, so I can ask why and why not and find out who stuffed the ballots. Otherwise, the prequel bombs, and I'll be sitting here wishing someone had given me feedback.

Well, it's sorta important because the RP is a joint effort - even though I have the final decision, your opinion has just about as much weight as mine does. It could become a matter of "Veg's making the backstory suck, I'm not as happy with the RP now" or etc. Still, I'll post a continuation of the prequel fic either tonight or tomorrow, at the very latest by the end of the weekend.
