In all honesty, I would be a more surprised if a blue-haired girl walked by than a redhead, though when I WAS around girls more often, there were enough redheads to make it seem like an unspectacular event.

I heard there were cases of wolves on Baffin Island who displayed a bluish hue on their coats. But if that's the only thing one can find on the propensity of blue hair in nature, it's saying a lot.

And "red hair is way hotter than the other colors" states an opinion, not a fact (Vegeta 20XX himself is desensitized to redheads because he went to school with a lot of them). It really just depends on the way the hair looks in general rather than it's color that catches my eye.

Oh, and I only have one volume of the NGE manga adaptation, and, ironically, it's the one with Asuka on the cover (Volume 4).

Our Rei wears her wig around with her contacts in, that is about as close are you are gonna get.
