I did an experiment to see how far I would get in a picture without using lineart for guidance (and with a mouse, since I still don't have a tablet). It's Killy from Blame!

@Deathmask: Where'd you do your lineart? How long did it take you before you were making good lineart (because my lineart sucks)?

I'm not sure what you mean by that. I sketch it in pencil and then ink/color in photoshop, each picture takes like 2-3 hours.

I dunno, but the first time I tried my hand at inking a picture (like 3-4 months ago), everything just turned out really nicely for some reason. I have no idea why.

I already posted this in the picture thread, but it's really ore appropriate here, I suppose. After having just gotten photo shop for the first time in a few years, I played around with it for a few hours and made this.

I used to draw by hand all the time, but I really don't do it much anymore. I've been trying to concentrate on my writing, but I've been in an incredible lazy spell lately. I know exactly what I should be writing, but I'm just not doing it. Anyway, that's not important.
