This is only a page ( 3/4 of it on the page) about evangelion. There are few other pages that deal with evangelion but the rest of the book is about the culture of anime.

Not that we get to see much kindness - or more correctly, much sympathy, in the underlying meaning of fellow feeling - being shown her. Aside from the moments with Hikari, where Asuka acts as a girl her age, there's little sense that anyone reacts to the obvious and public warning signs on her CV (like her degree).
That probably isn't a bad model - certainly better than the fact that she reminded me of me.
Shinji/Asuka is a whole separate can of worms...

Meh, I bought it, it wasn't that great. Like saying Shinji masturbated over Asuka with a sad look on his face (yes, those are the words she used). We didn't even see his face! Except for when his eyes went :shock: when breasts where exposed. And every example used is cited as comming from episode three, though they come from almost every episode except no. 3.

I'll probably grab it just because it's on the topic of anime. I really think that there are VERY few people able to write about Eva related topics in a book that will please this crowd. I'm willing to bet the threads that go on here and AN go far deeper than anything written in a book that wasn't authored by Anno himself.

It has about in total, in the book, no more than 10 pages in total ( I would say closer to about 4 pages).

Of course some of the stuff about eva, she trys to explain is totally wrong. But sometime she gets it right.
