It's a question that goes on in my head for quite a while.
after doing rebuild of evangelion, what's gonna happen?
will it be put away in the shelves of time or some other thinggy?
i don't know...
any ideas?

mind you, there is a pending live-action movie. there is a director but the production doesn't have a producer and a writer. i'm still thinking that they may push through with it after this project... one of may posibilities.

Rebuild of Evangelion: Death and Rebirth. This will be a condensed version of the four movies shown as one anachronistic mess.

The End of Rebuild of Evangelion. This will be an alternate version of Evangelion: Final that will feature much better animation and an assload of mindfuckery.

Rebuild of Rebuild of Evangelion. This will be a series of four thirty minute episodes that will show Rebuild of Evangelion as it would have been made with better technology and a larger budget.
If the pen is mightier than the sword, the keyboard is mightier than the ICBM.

The Rebuild series will most likely end with 4.0 by 2013 and it seems like a Live Action movie series done by a Japanese studio like Toei would be the best choice to do next.

I'm really hoping Rebuild will be the last spin-off, at least as far as the screen is concerned.

He shuddered a bit, remembering the somewhat creepy level of detail Kaji had gone into, while rubbing a watermelon in a disturbingly sexual way.

i was hoping that they consider doing NGE: Angelic Days into anime...

I actually wouldn't mind if they did it. It may be a bit of a cash in, but at least we'd get something worthwhile out of it. They don't really have to redub the Japanese portion of the series. Maybe a few fixes here or there.

why not do the whole series again!
it may sound funny, but if they do so,
they can use the CG technology used in creating rebuild...
plus they get to incorporate rebuild with the original...
hehe. :grin:

Maybe after Rebuild is done, Hideaki Anno will use the profits to show the Americans how making a Live Action Anime film is done?

There is still the speculative Live Action Evangelion film.

Sadamoto's Evangelion manga is still ongoing.

Ikari Shinji Ikusei Keikaku is still ongoing.

Evangelion Gakuen Datenroku is still ongoing.

More video games.

Etc.

I agree since the series redone in HD would be rather nice and why not remove of the pointless episodes like Jet Alone. Or make the anime closer to the Manga?
