I like Allison's Misato. Doesn't quite sound the same as in the original series though, I hope it's because it's only the trailer.
Spike's Shinji still sounds great!
I might have to adjust to the new voice for Ritsuko.
John Swasey's Gendo didn't sound like how it did in the DC episodes. I hope it's only because it's the trailer also.

hmmm... really very underwhelming :/
i love the original dub but for rebuild i really wish they had have gotten an entirely new cast. i wanna see something fresh, a new take on the characters. I mean its a reboot, the only returning actors are for Misato and Shinji... wouldn't it have seemed odd if they gave the role of the joker to jack nicholson in the dark knight?
i think im jumping the gun a little. ill reserve my opinion until i see the entire movie.

Yes, Toji, Ritsuko, Kensuke, all have improved voice actors. I'm glad I won't be hearing a whiney Ritsuko.
Rei is going to take some getting used too. She will sound a bit more whispy.
Why the fuck no robin williams as Gendo? He's an A-list celebrity and would boost the films popularity exponentially. Funimation AT LEAST was smart enough not to cast sue ulu.
