Apparently ad with the new bluray release or such has first info on upcoming PS3 Evangelion game underneath advertisement of the one coming soon for PSP/PS2.

That's ok, we have achievements. But ever since the end of the Sega systems, Eva games have favored Sony.

Nice! I can't wait to see pictures.

They use the rare word "katachi" (beauty, aesthetic, perfection...) to describe it, just like they're doing with the new game for the PSP & PS2 game based on Rebuild 1.0. It might be an adaptation of that, or maybe a new game based on Rebuil 2.0.

PS3 has trophies, by the way.

After seeing actual pics from the upcoming PS 2 game, i don't think it should be taken to seriously when they describe something as beautiful in their advertisements.

I know this will probably not be the case, but it would be hilarious in a retarded way if the PS 3 project turned out to be another dating sim.

I hope it's not another "Visual Novel" or text heavy game, because I would like to be able to actually play it instead of stumbling randomly through menues and not having a clue as to what's going on. And that's assuming the game is actually worth playing, let alone importing.

Well, I've said this before, and I'll say it again. I am yet to find an Evangelion game that I have thought to be worth buying, (coming from somebody who has NO knowledged of Japanese, thus cannot enjoy these massive text based games.)

Either way, if I do end up getting a ps3, the game is good, and understandable, I'll get it, but if not. Forget about.

If I could get it at a decent price I may pick up Evangelion 64 for the sheer purpose of novelty and as a collectible, but it's not a game that I'd call good by any stretch of the imagination. I wish someone would freaking make a good Evangelion game already, but I doubt it's going to happen any time soon.

Ironically, our best bet for a good Evangelion game might actually be the video game tie in for LAEM. That probably won't turn out well either, but statistically the odds of a movie-based game being good are much higher than with TV shows.

^Maybe, either way, at least it would be in English. I would've done the ame thing about Eva 64, but I've already emulated it and I'd rather not have to go out and buy a Japanese N64. Unless its region free or something?

The good thing to me is how easy it is to import ps3 games. Nothing special to do, it auto works on any regions ps3, so this is going to be an instant import

I hope we get a Xbox360 port or something. I really hope this comes to the USA seeing that Funi has the dubbing rights to the Rebuild series.

Game is being developed by Cellius, which is a joint development team of Sony and Namco/Bandai. The software they make will be Sony exclusive and mainly for use on PS3, as that was the intention of the creation of this group.
