Would not have figured they'd bring that bit back.

P.S. What's going with all the giant blood boils on Sachiel's back? Have those always been there and I've just never seen them?

Now that you mention it, this cut wasn't in 1.01, though it's obviously based on the one from episode 01. Those boils are pretty squicky. I wonder if the cut of Sachiel's face emerging is going to be revised accordingly.

As an aside I'm still uncertain what to think of this. I mean 2 extra minutes is nothing. The slightly brighter image quality is nice though

^ What the hell? Now that we have a closer look at the thing, Unit 01 doesn't seem to look right with its jaw hinged at such an awkward angle.

Berserker dummyplug mode or not, this shot looks just plain weird. Reminds me of thie Thylacine's insane open mouth.....

They've posted screen shots of the 1.11 blu-ray release's new scenes here on the site, so as far we know there's only gonna be two extra minutes? these scenes will probably use up all that time. ^_^

アフレコ台本 doesn't necessarily mean that anything's changed, just that you get the script/storyboard (in whatever form, digital or physical) with your copy of the disks.

So, I don't know that any of the dialogue already present will be any different, only a few scenes added due to the movie's new running time, and having seen screenshots. Because, seeing as one can buy 1.11 in DVD form, added scenes would be the only justification to buying the same movie again...

I'm sure Funimation will release 1.11 after they release 1.01, so we can buy the same movie twice just 2 minutes longer. I'm glad they fixed the darkness problem though.

Yes. It seems we're getting:
1: Two trailers for 1.0 - TV Spot
2: Rebuild of EVANGELION:1.01
3: Angel of Doom PV
4: Script (1.11ver.)
5: Trailer for 2.0 (who knows which version)

That site doesn't seem to know what exactly that new cut is. They mention the film only being one minute longer, 100 minutes now to 101, theorizing it's the three new scenes that have been mentioned before that constitute the new cut. Not much more than that.

P.S. For those without the clams or the want for blu-ray can purchase 1.11 in DVD form and get the same junk as mentioned above.

omg the evas arent just silhouettes in that picture! i'm gonna burst into tears. No wonder 2.0 took so long, they were recoloring everyone of the scenes that they fucked up with compression or whatever caused that darkness
