Johnny Q, a drama flick featuring Denzel Washington. Played too strictly to stereotypes and clichés, and had an unrealistic "happy" ending. The beginning was ingenious, too bad the rest of the film didn’t reflect it.

It looks like I'm not the only one. It think it a ok movie
I didn't say it was OK. I said it was awful.
but The Last Temptation of Christ to me was a better movie.
Yes, because it tried to be a movie and not ... whatever the hell Passion qualifies as.

James Bond has the whole "bag at least one chick per movie" thing going on; the character is generally kind of revolting. Plus I actually tried watching some of the movies (both older ones and newer ones) and they really bored me.

I know but I said the movie was ok in my opinion. As for James Bond, I was never crazy about them but I did enjoy movies before Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan became James Bond since Roger Moore was awful in my opinion and Brosnan was good in A view to Kill and Golden Eye, but awful anything after that. I never got into the series since I never grew up character like most people did.

How is it frightening?
Anyways, mine is Bourne Identity. My cousin absolutely loves the movies, and begged me to watch 'em. The second half was a chore to watch.

He can be a bit of a "he-bitch man-whore", yes, especially in the campier days of Connery and Moore. At least in the newest ones he is seen to actually give a shit about his paramours, though. The entire last movie was Bond out for vengeance, answers, and occasionally just brooding over the 'bond girl' from the previous film, Vesper, whom he honestly developed feelings for before her death. Although he does shack up with someone purely for ulterior motives as part of the plot, he never lays a finger on the true female co-star, another lost soul looking for some payback.

Joseph the PRPD wrote:Fact: Meet the Spartans was originally supposed to be titled Epic Movie 2. I forgot the reason why is was changed to Meet the Spartans.
Because Epic Movie was so awful, they thought that people would be stupid enough to not realize MTS was a sequel if they changed the name...sadly, they were kind of right.
Any Bond movie that isn't:
From Russia With Love
Goldfinger
Thunderball
Goldeneye
Casino Royale
Quantum of Solace
Also, @Guyver Spawn, that was Moore in A View To A Kill...with Chris Walken as a Super-Aryan-Nazi-Experiment...or something. God I hated the Moore movies.
And...God help me for saying this here of all places,
Did not care for End of Evangelion...well...pretty much just the LA parts. Thoroughly enjoyed the rest of it.
I can also tell without seeing it, that I would hate Slumdog Millionaire. Everyone I know who has seen it says The Wrestler should have won best picture and that Millionaire was terrible.

Presumably you mean Casino Royale(2006) rather than Casino Royale(1967) there.

Ha, I do believe that Woody Allen's performance as Jimmy Bond was easily the greatest incarnation of Bond the screen has ever seen...
Yeah, you're right, I was just a bit too lazy to type specify that it was the Craig film. Had considered putting it in, but didn't think anyone would really think of the "original."

Casino Royale (1967) was crap and the movie made me want to turn it off after the first half of hour of it. the 2006 Casion Royale movie is a great flick and it was a nice reboot much like Godzilla 1984 and Batman Begins was.

I found Quantum of Solace to be a distinctly mediocre bond movie. It left little impression on me and I can barely remember it.
Although my experience may have been some what tainted by the fact the projectionist knocked the projector and we seemed to be watching it on the ceiling for about 10 minutes.

It's definitely not as good as Casino (2006), but it has its moments. I think the biggest mistake they did with the film was that it seemed to be going more in the direction of previous Bond films. It was still grittier than the previous entries, but it didn't seem as grounded in reality as Casino (2006).

King Kong (the newer one, obviously)
I remember seeing this in theaters. There were way too many parts that could have been cut. One in particular involved Kong and that girl (can't remember character's name) staring into the sunset. I went up to take a leak and came back to them still looking at the fucking sun.

Yes...they really could have gotten rid of some of the "aw, he has a heart of gold" moments. Yeah, we get that he is misunderstood, but most people went to the movie to see a crazy giant gorilla fighting dinosaurs and airplanes.
I do respect Jackson's uncompromising vision, though. Also, when the movie was on, it was on.
Now...if only he would direct LAEM...or at least be an exec. producer. Sure, Weta's sort of involved, but that doesn't mean he is.

That would presumably be the newest one (2005 as opposed to 1976 or 1933).

That's the whole point of scenes like that. Guys can leave their girls in rapt attention at the screen and attend the call of nature without missing anything important.

High School Musical 3
Stupid and annoying movie is fucking stupid and annoying.
Same goes for the two crapfests before it was terrible but it was adored by Disney Channel Fan girls.
I have not seen the movies but I don't have to see it to know it sucks.
As to why part 3 of the series was in the movies is beyond me.
Also with all these "sequels" to the original Disney classics, the Walt Disney company was milking it's own cash cow.
