[Video Games] What was your first game console?
The topic said it all. My first game console was a Sega Genesis back in 1997. I later got a PS1 in 1998 and a N64 back in 1999. What about you?

My dad had an Atari 2600 (he also still has his original PONG machine which still works, amazingly) so that was the first I played. I got an NES when I was 3 and I've been a video game whore ever since.

My fisrt game system was a secondhand NES in 1995, I played the original Mario game, Duck Hunt, and ths game where you used a step pad to make sammiches.
I got a Game Boy soon after, became addicted to Tetris at age 5.
I also got an N64 soon after it came out, by the time the Gamecube came out I had close to 50 games for it. My favorites were Vigilante 8, Mario 64, and Super Smash Bros.

An Atari 2600 we got second-hand from somebody, together with tons of cartridges of crappy games. I remember having Pong, too.
We didn't get a "real" gaming console until we were a bit older. And that, of course, was the good ol' NES. (It was wise of our mother to make us wait. This way, we actually had reason to go outside in our early years and develop our immune systems.)

My dad had a Commodore 64, but I was little then so I don't remember playing it.
The first system I remember playing was on a DOS-powered computer using a Amber Monochrome Monitor. Played all sorts of games on that, including the very first Flight Simulator. That was in the late 80's to early 90's area.
My first video game system was the SNES in 1993. It's probably why I think that Mario World was one of the best platformers ever made.

first gaming system I had was my pop's Apple IIe. Ankroid, Wizardry, Burgertime, Frogger, Mario Bros (original, not super)... ah, good times.
First console was a NES, though I played the shit out of friend's Atari 2600 to get my fix of bouncy shot tanks.

First one I played was the original Pong and the Atari 2600 at my friends houses. First one I owned was a TurboGrafx-16.

My first was a Sega Saturn, which I got for the full price of $300 with three free games. I've never regretted it since. Now, I have one of the rarest games for it, Panzer Dragoon Saga as well as a few others.
Since then, I've obtained a Sega Nomad, Dreamcast, GBC, Microsoft Xbox, Sony PS2, GBA and a red-ringed Xbox 360. Fun times!

RROD is an 80g achievement. Be proud.
