Ahh, u already posted that one
Thanks for all the help guys... although I really can't pinup a pic of GNR on my wall, even if she's just one part of a complicated overlay.
I think I'll print out the "Shinji goes nuts" one. You know, I sometimes look like that as my end term exams approach

As great as it is, unfortunately I have neither the software nor the print ink to print something that large, and it doesnt look anywhere as good sized down. Thanks anyway, I think I have enough A4 sized pics to brighten up my little 'hole in the wall' of a dorm room.

I would put good money on "real". I've seen some guys with crazy tattoos before and that's par for the course there. Run through a couple tattoo mags and you'll see some interesting stuff.
If I recall correctly, my buddy's brother has the Battle of Endor covering his left shoulder and upper arm along with two Quake 3 medalions on each tricep and a fifth on the back of his neck. Otaku come in all types.
On an side note, are they really "tattoos" any more at that point? Wouldn't they be better described as "murals"?

Well, didn't Gainax have those little bento thingies up on their website at some point, too? Those must have been specially made just for Gainax. This picture has the name Gainax on the bottom, so I wouldn't be surprised if it were a specially-crafted fake tattoo just for them to display on their website.

This one is the latest installment of "Eva at Work". A project to decorate Gainax's toppage by 12 different artists. One work per month has been presented, this one being the 5th I believe. Can still watch the flash on gainax's site. This is the same project that did the Lilith plate different artist this time.

You're such a Yui spaz.
Although while we're on the subject of characters, I see very few harpies (they're characters, damn you all). WHERE ARE THE HARPY IMAGES? I can't have downloaded them all and baleeted the rest from the internet, so obviously somebody else has some...

Harpies for the lose... Although this artist made a nice attempt at making them less craptastic. I just thought they looked too biological for EVAs in armor, not to mention the fact that their heads are just so...uncreative. Speaking of which, why aren't their mouths bolted shut?
