Hmm, yeah, that last panel worked out quite nicely, didn't it?Z Metalla wrote:Oh, man! XD I LOL'd. And half-figleaf technology not only struck again, but made it even funnier.
"D-Cup Hunter" is a very funny ecchi doujinshi with one continuous story, and it'd be great to see the whole thing translated. What I posted is actually just one page from a 7-page scene wherein Misato and Kaji are out on the town, very drunk, with the former being stalked by Asuka, who is intent on-- Oh, well, I wouldn't want to spoil it, if you ever manage to see the whole thing. Too bad I can't link you guys to the whole thing here... (At least, not without extensive figleafing, and that takes too long. )Now, someone just needs to mangl-- er, translate it.
But, transration? I guess I might try sometime.

And... oh dear. You knew this guy was doomed to show up again sooner or later. Nevermind that he's been my avatar for over five months. Reichu's favorite bishounen, the one, the only...
Revision of same old, same old, since I'm apparently obsessed with getting the right look for the Doc down. Hopefully, the familial resemblance between him and his bastard-child Kaworu* is getting much better. I'm already noticing things in this version that bother me, but, eh... I'll fix them later.
(BTW, the thicker-than-Kaworu's eyebrows are on purpose. Any resemblance between Akira and Misato is zilch in B&W, but that's what the purple hair and brown eyes are for.)
* Well, not everyone buys into this. ;;p

<3. Akira. His eyes look...divine.
I myself have attempted another NGE fanart, but I need an image for a source for one of the parts of my picture. Could anyone provide that covor illustration of Eva-01 holding her helmet in her hand?(I forgot the book's title)
Appreciated.

Thankee. And, yes, I hope so... Perhaps, one day, he will actually have a body, as well. (!!!)Z Metalla wrote:Anyway, Akira is looking fantastic. Don't worry, you'll get him drawn ideally for yourself soon enough.
[quote="Magami"]Hmm, now why would that be? But that's good -- they're supposed to be his "most stunning feature".
I gave him a slight haircut -- ah, that looks better.
You can actually get the EVA-01 pic here. Let me know if you need it bigger.

I just came over to the states for my summer vacation, and I found that my parents have a color printer! w00t! Its wallpaper printing time... only.. I'm not sure exactly what pics to print out and pin up in my dorm...
As t3h g0dfather of anime on our institute LAN, I'm widely regarded as a fr34k, but I don't exactly want to exacerbate the condition... ah fsck 'em, here's wat I've printed out already:
A couple of Rei pics (Can't have too much Rei )
Dishevelled Rei
Rei with clock in background
The coolest EVA-02 scene in EoE (and nope, not one with harpies)
Eva-02 o_O
And one of Furi Kuri:
Naota and Guitar
So, Whaddya think? Any more suggestions?

My friend and I uploaded these three wallpapers; they're mostly neutral-coloured pics overlayed on one another, with only one or two layers with colour.
EoE Wallpaper - Asuka, Spear, GNR, Shogouki
Another EOE Wallpaper - Shinji going nuts, Rei and Kaworu
Shogouki with Yui and Shinji in front
PS: These were made for a wallpaper project. We were to use neutral as a colour scheme but with as little altering of the base images as possible, to see if we can put it in an interesting way, or something like that. Just FYI.

I use rxvt and all my terminals are transparent. Thus I kinda have to stick to darker, low contrast backgrounds. Current wallpaper on laptop., btw, does anyone have a 1600x1200 version of that?
also another good one.

Call me a nub, but what does 'rxvt' mean/stand for?Ornette wrote:I use rxvt and all my terminals are transparent. Thus I kinda have to stick to darker, low contrast backgrounds.
Very nice.
Though my monitor can handle resolutions higher than 1024x768, I still use it as default...maybe I've just used that too long.

It's an equivalent to an xterm that does vt220 emulation, but you can make it transparent.CanonRAP wrote:Call me a nub, but what does 'rxvt' mean/stand for?
example
notice how you can see the wallpaper through the terminal

Manga spread w/ overlaid pictures - 1024x768
Found this last one, hanging around in my backup drive for some reason. Again, simple overlay.
BTW, according to him there are 9 overlays on this one. Maybe he just likes complicated stuff or something.
