How old are you? Where are you from? What gender are you?

Yeah. You read right. This is for everything that doesn't have anything to do with Eva.

I managed to click through all 38 pages to go from A/S/L to Taco Bell vs. Jack in the Box, to US bashing, to personal pleasuring, to graphics cards, to relationships. What an interesting group of people here.

Thanks. Been lurking for quite a while. I see that Reichu is quite the character in these parts.

I guess it's "entertaining" if you're a masochist :P

And welcome to the forums, fellow EVA geek. Make yourself at home.

Hehe thanks. I've got quite a bit of catching up to do considering I've only decided to FINALLY watch the entire series a few months ago after watching the first episode 5+ years ago. What the hell was wrong with me?

About time somebody did. A show which focusses on existential angst seems to have attracted a lot of slightly defective cases.

That she is. If you've been lurking a while, then presumably seen her fan art, especially the sculpture, which seems to cause the young 'uns some trauma.

So now you can go through some of the usual threads that newcomers tend to post on and let us know what you thought. And also what you thought of the significant parts. You know - Rei or Asuka? Who do you ship, that sort of thing. :)

LOL! Yes, the hardest part is seeing how almost EVERYONE has beaten certain topics to death. I hope you'll excuse me when I revive certain debates. I try to search through the older stuff first but it seems that sometimes it's better just to bring it up again...like another Rei clone. :)

As for Reichu, yes, I have seen her art. It's simply amazing with the skill and creativity she's put into it. I like her point of view, even though I may not agree with all of it. It certainly keeps things interesting.

For the record, I lean towards Misato right now, but Rei and Asuka are neck and neck. I think I can handle the concept of polygamy though. Each one has a trait that I like so whomever I fancy depends on my mood...heh.

I post to procrastinate on work and because I have nothing better to do since I'm currently on probation. I recently got the series off of ebay, encountered this forum while scouring the internet for interesting eva stuff.

Well I post here and procrastinate from more important things like sleep and my day job (which I happen to be at right now on a Sunday. :? )

USAFA? Long shot but did you ever know a kid named Chip? He graduated last year I think.

Name: Aubrey
Age: 23
Location: North Carolina
(of course everyone can infer most of that under my name, on my posts)

Typical Newbie Info: I've been an Eva fan for over a year, but only started collecting last fall (the renewal disks, only one to go before I'm done!). My favourite character is the kitten killer, with the hospital wanker in second. I could use names, but epithets are far more fun. Favourite episode is, predictably, The Final Messenger with Both of You, Dance Like You Mean It in second. Quite a contrast, I know.

Personal Quirks: Those British spellings I've picked up from the Harry Potter fandom years ago and decided to stick with for no good reason.
