It's a sin to watch any Eva movie while doing other stuff in the Internet. It breaks the first commandment of Lilith, our God!

1. Thou shalt devoteth all thy attention to Eva, and only Eva, while watching Eva!!!

Technically, watching it on Veoh also counts as downloading it...

not really, downloading it would be like... downloading it off the net, it just streams on veoh.

Sufficient bits to make the movie appear on your screen arrive down the intertubes in either case. Just that with veoh and its ilk, they aren't captured into fixed form for later viewing (like you could do with a TiVo for the TV).

Checking the DVD thread would help, as I posted a stream link not two days before this thread's creation.

For those of us with limited hard drive space/short on patience, I found a stream. BUT, first you'll need to get Veoh tv ( small download) so you can watch more than a 5 minute preview. Its dvd quality, but its not like its the best clarity ever, I'm sure its an avi at the source.

Now Asuka can watch the first film to get up to speed with her arrival in the second one! ^_^

Imp: Actually I'm going to buy all 4 films when they're released as a boxset. Knowing Gainax it most likely will be released that way at some point down the line...

It's also making the rounds at various anime conventions, without much fanfare. I saw it at Anime Expo last month.

In San Francisco at the Japantown Mall they have Rebuild of Evangelion dvds which have Japanese audio and English subtitles. When I saw it I was like :w00t: snatches! and I bought it for 29.99 and then I looked at the back and could tell that the english subtitles were translated from chinese subtitles and it was a region 0 dvd. Then I returned it and got all my money back. The dvds they sold from that fake ass store only cost 1.50 to make and are only copies.

@SSD
I will buy individually first, then, I will also buy the box set. It is like having many different versions of the same music. My piano teacher gave me this habit, but aside from the fact that your wallet dries up very quickly, it is good for referencing etc.

BUT I STILL CAN'T BELIEVE PEOPLE ARE TRYING TO WATCH IT FOR FREE! HEATHENS! BLASPHEMERS etc. etc.
