[MUSIC] A Chinese rendition of the Cruel Angel's Thesis

Just now I was told when Eva was broadcast in China (excluding Hong Kong, for she was still England's colony in 1996), a Chinese version of Cruel Angel's Thesis was specifically written and sung for the show. I have no information whatsoever about this Chinese version. Have anyone come across this cover before? Thanks.

PS. Though not having heard this purported version before, intuition told me it wouldn't sound nice.

They just translated the lyrics and stuffed them into the song.
Even the translation is laughable

EX:
Like a cruel angel...

美丽的天使在召唤你
Which means: The beautiful angel is summoning you.

Not just only that, the key was wayyyyyy off.
I can both read and speak chinese

That's not that bad, in fact the lyrics are pretty good!
If that fandub was made with more 'professional' higher quality sound, it would be great.
