Groundwork of 1.0 is a totally different thing from whatever the heck the really expensive hardcover that comes with the storyboards is called.

I just bought Groundwork of Evangelion: 1.0 You Are (Not) Alone which is 328 pages long. It cost me 47 dollars. I bought it in the Japancenter in San Francisco, California. They were also selling bootleg copies of the new movie. All of the text is Japanese in this book and most of the pages are filled with illustrations. There are a few pages entirely full of Japanese letters though. I have a very high DPI scanner in my house, if anyone wants me to scan the whole book I could do it.

Groundwork of 1.0 is the same as those Groundwork books of the series/films. They mostly include sketches/production drawings of the eventual cells (very few finished images for that matter, if I'm remembering right).

If you don't mind the tedious work and the abuse rendered unto your copy, System, having scans around would be quite nice... (Coming from someone who already owns the thing.)

Wait... Why are you posting about Groundwork in this thread, anyway?

And this reminds me that I still haven't barfed up anything on the Big Black Book. OH SHI--

If you have any questions about Groundwork of Evangelion, PM me. I also bought this Bandai 2007 Eva-01 Test Type model kit from a Japanese toy store which cost me more than 50 dollars. It ends up that you haveto put together the whole thing all by yourself and all the instructions are in Japanese. I finished putting together 2 legs so far. And then I bought some sort of Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya book which was 16 dollars (all in Japanese).
