Anno should do a version of Snoopy vs. The Red Baron, and he replaces Snoopy with himself. Or would that be more up Oshii's alley? Either way, just think how deep and meaningful it could be!

Some people might think of NGE as what happens when you combine Charlie Brown, anime, and Sci-fi into one thing, and then give that thing steroids.
On Neil being topped, I think there are writers just as good as him, but Sandman is meant for his hands and only his hands to write.
