Thought there was a nice high-res image of Rei's table (so you could read the Japanese written on the packaging) on one of the collectors discs but couldn't find anything.

good LORD I've never thought of that pairing @[email protected]Reichu wrote:Ritsuko says that she's the one who keeps Rei alive, which could mean other things, too.

But seriously, she seems to take as much medicine as an old crone. That in and of itself should raise red flags that at the very least she needs them to function normally. She might be able to live without them, but if she could, which I doubt, she'd probably be a drooling idiot.

I don't know how much Brik handles medications, but if he does the same sort of thing would apply as above with regards to recognising stuff with hardly any info.
V wrote:....no, I would not take "Thomas had a B-" and jump to the conclusion of "BCG vaccination". Bad example for what you're trying to say I understand, but it remains that I think you're going to jump to conclusions.

Gamer_2k4 wrote:There really isn't enough information from just one letter, and if the medication truly is required for Rei to survive, as V said, than it could be all sorts of things: immuno-boosters, hormone supplements, basic vitamins, or even something theoretical that 2015 doctors have and we don't. I'd say there are too many possibilities to nail it down.

Too me, the fact that the labels are pretty ambiguous would suggest to me that they're trying to keep it ambiguous, or just plain not using any medication, because there's always somebody who'll go:
Diamorphine Chloride! Rei must be in a lot of pain.
Or try to bitch about it eing the wrong medication for her condition. We're only meant to know that's she's taking tablets, not what they are, or what they're for...
And whats to stop them being Custom Clone Tablets?

Incidence rate for children with brain tumours isn't high, whereas every school-going child in the country has had a BCG vaccination. There might be a one in a million chance that they had a brain tumour instead sure.
Zuggy wrote:Yeah, but it's never said what the pills she takes are.
Written on the bottle in the first image is 内 which means interior - I don't recognise the other kanji on the bottle tho'. There's loads of writing on the white packet as well as on the bottles in the second image - the shape and colours of the three different types of pills in the two images might give something away too.
