Recent Hauls
I just had an idea for a thread. If it's not allowed, just take it off.
Basically, we share our recent hauls. Whatever you got recently, you can share photos or not if you want to. The point is, there is something interesting about seeing what people have got recently.
I'll start:
Today:
Yubel and Card Ejector YGO Cards x 1
The Naked Chef Series 1

Got as in... anything?
I recently bought a pair of $8k Interconnects for my audio system. Who wants to see what $8k cables look like?
In lesser purchases, my last Amazon purchase was:
CD:
Opeth - Still Life [Remastered]
King's X - XV
The Sword - Gods of the Earth
DVD:
Three Times by Hou Hsiao-hsien
Books:
The Sandman Companion
The Sandman Papers
Dustcovers: Collected Sandman Covers

I've seen so many changeful years, / to Earth I am a stranger grown: / I wander in the ways of men, / alike unknowing and unknown: / Unheard, unpitied, unrelieved, / I bear alone my load of care; / For silent, low, on beds of dust, / Lie all that would my sorrows share. - Robert Burns' Lament for James

HMV had a sale on music DVDs.
Snatched some fun stuff from Forbidden Planet too:
Human on the Inside is quite interesting as it's one of the few deconstructionist comics I've read that has an unambiguously happy ending.[/list]
- Pearl Jam: Touring Band 2000
- Led Zeppelin: The Song Remains The Same
- David Bowie: A Reality Tour
- Meatloaf:Hits out of Hell
Snatched some fun stuff from Forbidden Planet too:
- Watchmen, since I lost my old dog-eared copy last year
- Promethea vol 1-3
- The Authority: Human on the Inside

Tell me, is something eluding you, sunshine?
Is this not what you expected to see?
If you wanna find out what's behind these cold eyes
You'll just have to claw your way through this disguise!

A few months ago: ~Revoltech Fraulein Asuka
Just this late last month/early this month:
~Decade Memorial Box (Renewal Feature films and Eva2 Another Cases)
~PSP Silm (apparently...It's a 2000 Piano Black.) <---teh awesome, I love it.
~On the way: 2 gig memory card for it
That's it for lately.
<--Doesn't normally spend so much so soon.
Though it sucks how even though PSPs are region-free for UMD games, it's not so for UMD movies... *sigh*

It can be anything, yeah?
Well, then I have bought these few things over the past few weeks:
1. An 1/48 scale model of the Su-27 Flanker B from MiniHobbyModels.
2. Dale Brown's Strike Force, Act of War and I'm going to get Shadow Command soon.
3. A cat. It was an offspring, actually, she was given by a relative of ours.
And....
Call of Duty 4. Jesus christ the graphics on there are awesome! A bit laggy though...

I do! I do! Right here, TriLinK does!
But yeah, 8 grand on audio cables? Is the improvement really worth shelling out that kind of cash? Just curious.

God, Apparently you all have been discussing Q since November. Catching up on the discussion is harrowing.

You do realise you can get over 2TB hard drives? Heh heh, just telling. I went out today to Northlands and bought yet ANOTHER encyclopedia on military aircraft....

I was wondering Bee. Do you have "Fighter Combat" by Robert Shaw (ISBN0-87021-059-9)? If you don't then run - no fly - to your local supplier and get it. It should be just what you need to satisfy your inner aviator.
On the topic of recently aquired stuff:
The Kanji Dictionary - Spahn&Hadamidzky
Genki II + workbook - Banno et.al.
some eva stuff...

Yeah, perfectly aware. My brother bought it awhile back, though and didn't want it. God knows why. All I had to do was pay for the casing. Cheapest option for me.
