[MANGA] [NGE] How would YOU like the Manga to end?

Since the Manga still hasn't officialy ended, how would you like Sadamoto to finish it?

Personaly, i'd like that it will end like EoE but with a few exceptions.
I'd like it if the EoE part would go faster and later you will actually see everyone coming back.

Personally I say we keep the butt-kicking in EOE but still end it on the happy note that the series had at the end.... or at least with a Shinji/Asuka positive relationship or we'll never hear the end of it from the Rei fangirls :roll:

Actually i think it's quiet the opposite.. We all know how crazy Asuka fan girls can get...

I agree with max3000 with the ending, I just want to see more of a good/happy post story. I get enough crappy endings in real life I don't need another one.

The reason the EoE's ending was so great, is that it was neither "happy" nor "sad" in a traditional sense, rather it was ambiguous, but not in a frustrating way. It leaves you with an emotion that is neither happiness as it would have if the ending was "happy" in a traditional sense, or sadness as a "sad" ending would leave you.
I really can't see how it could get much better.

As I know it will be nothing like the series ending, and know it won't be nearly as intellectual and symbolic as the movie ending, I hope for a destructive violent ending like the movie up until 3rd impact, and then perhaps taking a different route, ending with humanity learning a harsh lesson anout the world they live in. I certainly don't want it to end with "Kimochi Warui".

I personnaly want an ending like EoE, but I want Sadamoto to force feed me all the answers. As much as I love finding answers in these things, I'd also like to know for sure what happens to the characters.

Normally I wouldn't care about the characters, but the characters in Eva are special. I actually WANT (and hope) to know if they're okay. What exactly happened after the beach? How long did the both of them live? Did they die right after it ended? Did they go their seperate ways? The beach ending was fine... but it made me feel hollow, maybe the manga can give the ending more hapiness.

in the manga they could go more in depth into the third impact...so maybe he could have a glimpse of the future like 2 years after third impact...that would be more definate...but then again when has eva ever been like that?

My thoughts almost exactly, although the T.V. ending was almost as good in my opinion.

As far as the ending of the manga, I'm pretty Sure Sadamoto will have something special up his sleeve. Or we can keep or fingers crossed or something.

I kinda want to see a ending when Third impact is left up to Asuka or Rei.
Don't ask me how this would work, I just think it would be a brilliant take on End of Eva.

Shinji, Misato, Asuka and Rei and the rest of the eva gang join hands and start singing.

"we then see Gendou on a nearby cliff put a hand to his ear expecting to hear saddness, but instead gets gladness."

*Gendou grabs Fiyutski and starts yelling at him*

Gendou: They sing without evas! *looks away*

Gendou: They sing without Magi! *looks away*

Gendou: They sing dispite the fact that I killed that damn Kaji!

Then, in tokyo 3 they say, Gendou Ikari's heart grew 3 sizes that day.

well i think that if it had a new or altered ending it would be cool
anno says that the ending of eva is decided buy its viewers point of veiw or preference.
eathier way i'll be pleased

they never given me a reason to worry...why start now?

Im all for an EoE like build up to third impact but I really want to see a happy ending. Ho and if we could while we are at it remove a certian scene in with a sleeping Asuka and a realllllyyyyy confused and broken Shinji in a hospitol that would be great.

I don't ever want an ending. :? If there must be one though, I would like it to be completely and totally Sadamoto. He has changed a lot of the characters (in my opinion), and since he has gone that far he might as well go all the way.

Oh how bout a loop story like Generator Gawl. Where they just go back to the bigening (Shinji meeting Misato, sachel ect.)?

I'm not so sure it would be such a good idea to show what happens two years after Third Impact. Life is going to suck for quite a few centuries at least after the Third Impact. The entire landscape of the Earth was completely altered. The humans that choose to leave the sea of LCL are probably going to be in "survival mode" for a while. All societal structures have collapsed and man will be as he was in the beginning.

god..sometimes you ask some question DFS..and then you say that max is spammy..
to get on topic i have to agree with Dave here..Sadamoto has made a lot of changes and since he have made this i would like to see a different ending too..which i hope and believe to happen..
