Not really new news. They said that at Amecon.

The Eva Monkey and Sharp-Kun: I never must to imply is was necessarily news, I might even argue it isn't really news. The little significance it has is that they are still seemingly working hard at getting this movie into production. I never meant the I was benevolently bestowing esoteric Eva news on everyone, but just because you 2 (and perhaps many more) knew this others, like myself, may not have known they made a definitive list of directors to pursue. So I shared it with any who may not have known they are a minute step closer to getting the ball rolling.

I was merely showing ADV's enthusiasm (sp?) for this project, one which may have appeared dead in the water to some not fully in the know. I will no longer bore any of the anime elite with my old news posts. I didn't think it was a earth shattering announcement, but a small tidbit some may find of some interest, how wrong I was.

My apologizes

Gee Reichu, isn't that a bit extreme?

You got that all the way back in episode #02.

Excuse me while I go hurl.

Save your vomit for the end of "Pink Flamingos", because it deserves it more.

For the non-believers that think EVA is just another Giant-Robot.
"Whoa! Why does that giant robot have human like organs?"
True quote. That was my friend that said that while watching EOE.

No it WAS a hugeass LAEM thread. Merely people repeating the same things over and over and half the sentences start with either "It would be cool if..." and "I hope they don't...."

And if you want extreme visit 5chan and browse the guro section.

Scratch that. 5chan is D-E-A-D. For good this time I think. you could Pm me if you wanna see some guro (which you probably don't)

Indeed. It really is incredible how much the same thoughts get repeated again... and again... and again...

Granted, there actually WAS some interesting talk in there. But only some.

I think these movies will be good(They said there are going to be three, not one. LotR style.). They will only "suck" for hardore fanboys of the series who're too nerdy and obsessed to embrace a few changes. This movie trilogy will make the amazing story of Evangelion enjoyable to everyone, not just those who're willing to go out and spend hundreds on a costly set of DVDs of the series and 2 movies. Not to mention it's WETA studios, who satisfied a good 85% of Lord of the Rings novel fanboys, and brought the story to the general public having them enjoy it too, and even go back and check out the novels.

Also bearing in mind that the TV stations will see an opportunity with this and will more than likely try to get some ratings by re-airing the anime series a fourth time(well it'll be the fourth time for us in the UK anyway, dunno if it was even shown on TV in the US before?), in a more mainstream timeslot.

This is exactly the sort of thing you hear again and again. Image

But I suppose, having not suffered through all 1051 or so posts of that hugeass thread, you don't know any better. Image

Dammit! Image

"Scoring"? Like, Beavis and Butt-head's lifelong ambition?

Kensuke: Shinji, you're so lucky! You get to live with two hot babes, and you've got even more at work!
Shinji: Yeah... But I'm never gonna score.
Toji: That, like, sucks. Uh, uh-huh-huh-huh.

As wonderful as that may sound Image ... he was talking about the "musical" score.
