Why Kaworu without skafander?

2 things I noted:

1- During the first part of the battle with Sachiel, while the military is still in command, we get that scene of the 3 generals where one screams something like "Total War!...". In the series he said something about sending troops from Iruma and some other Japanese place. But on Weva, those 2 geographical references dissappear and the guy says something about a 4th battalion, no location.

2- When Shinji first refuses to pilot the Eva, Ritsuko says something like "Change the Core Unit to Type L-00" when they decided to let Rei in for a try on shogouki. That's a new one I believe.

Anno may have put these subtle cues in to mess with the minds of veteran Eva fans but not have them actually relate to the original continuity. Either that or Anno plans to seriously mind rape us. Meaning…

The giant on the Moon is the failed attempt by Seele to make a god during EoE and it is being kept on life support until Seele is able to revive it and claim omnipotence,

After Shinji rejected instrumentality Seele realized it couldn’t obtain full godhood so they opted to partially reset reality to give them another chance to fully maturate their god and ultimately use it as the vessel for their omnipotence,

So it really was the SEELE member he was referring to when he was saying someone hadn't changed. Okay, so there's not necessarily a past between Kaworu and Shinji! :)

Great to see R'Evas Shinji can throw a harder punch than his earlier counterpart.

Loved the movie...even though cams in general are a mockery of the artform I love....possible long winded review and personal reflection to come along later. If anyone has an interest that is.

Given indications than a certain episode 08 scene will be recycled into 2.0, I doubt it.

My theory is that Moon-Lilith is somehow a clone of the original Lilith based on her blood they found there. Which really is probably wrong. I don't even know what to think about Adam.

And here we were thinking Rebuild would be a shameless recycling of footage which added nothing new to debate or look forward too....

That's true. If we're sure the Moon giant isn't Lilith or Adam then it must be something we haven't seen yet. Considering that Sachiel is now the fourth the Moon giant (if an angel) might be the third. If it isn't an angel then it must be something entirely different.

Maybe you’re right about it being Eva-06. We’re all aware of soul divisibility, right? Kaworu could potentially place a fragment of his soul into the giant and synch with it in a similar manner to how Rei synchs with Eva-00 (which likely contains part of her soul). I suppose this would make the Moon giant a clone of Adam just like all the other evas. The difference would be that Eva-06 was constructed to serve as a vessel for Adam’s soul (Kaworu). Since Seele seems to manipulate Kaworu (similar to how Gendou manipulates Rei) they would essentially have a controllable Adam in the form of Eva-06.

Not sure if what I said makes any sense.
