It probably has, at least as a torrent somewhere, but it hasn't been found.

The torrent is going really slow for me. Sorry to ask, but does anyone know if anyone has uploaded it on MegaUpload? If someone does, I will return the favor by doing a video of their choice on my Youtube account.

You see, I thought like that yesterday, but since I already saw it, it was just too good to wait. All the pretty colours etc. :) Speaking of the DVD, all the Japanese websites I visit haven't got it listed. Not even Amazon Japan. 'tis annoying.

(1) Dai ni. And ni = 2, yes.
(2) Someone long since forgotten to the earlier stages of the rumor thread? (I have no idea what poster NAW is thinking of.)

People can keep the link up -- I don't care. Though I think anyone who wants to soil vis virgin experience with a screener is mad. :shakes head sadly:

Remember that the Rebuild chatter stays in the Rebuild forum, or else I slap people on the wrists.

The quality is actually very good for a camrip, minus the dark scenes in which it's kind of hard to see sometimes. In my opinion, it's good enough for an initial experience, then it'll be great again when seen in a (home) theater!

I'll wait to be different.

About the closest I'll get to "theater" is still rather far from it. (Though I might have an opportunity next summer on someone else's home theater system, with the twenty speakers and everything.)

I downloaded and watched the video, quality is pretty good except for the volume of the audio, but still pretty decent for a screener.
operation yashima was awesome, ramiel's new shapes too... although I think the scene with Shinji and Rei in her apartment looked almost the same as in the TV series.

The preview of 2.0 looks interesting enough.. especially this picture

Many scenes are shot-for-shot remakes, but are drawn better. For example, Rei's face during the closeup is incredibly more detailed if you pay attention.

Concordedly. And the one on the far right having three dots on vis head only raises further questions!

Yeah I noticed the closeup of Rei was definitely different, but many of the other parts (like when Shinji is above Rei) looks exactly identical to the original... I haven't compared them side to side though, and I guess it must have some differences, but...

And yeah it looks like the fourth of the "adams" haves the third dot in the forehead instead of the chest, or something.

A higher-resolution version in AVI form is available for download here.

it says in that webpage not to download from an exterior link. Now how to get to it?

.....ARUGH! I *should* just wait to watch the whole darn thing...but the Temptation...She is too great! ;_;

.......

EDIT: After thinking about it for a few minutes, I decided to wait to watch the whole damn thing in one go. Considering how I watched the Operation Yashima battle yesterday as a Trailer of sorts, I think it'd kinda suck to watch Part 2 without watching Part 1 along with it. *shrugs*

I am just pissed that I don't know an inch of Japanese
Normality is overrated

Kaworu/Asuka - give it a chance!
(Clarification - I still like Asuka/Shinji)

You mean you haven't heard NGE's Japanese dub with the English subs enough times that you don't know all the lines off by heart?!

Buurrrnnnn him!

Oftentimes in 1.0 the characters are repeating their lines from the TV series verbatim.
