Yeah, I thought that was a little out of character for a Gundam series, but then again, I've only seen most of 79 and a little Wing, so I know very little. Financial constraints are my excuse.

I'm tyring to drag my comments out. I only have up to episode 10 right now. _ I will say this, in the magma fight episode, it pretty well confirms my suspicion that the Angels are aliens, judging by the embryo "egg's" fall into th volcano. I'm also hating Asuka. A lot.

haha I see where you are coming from. However, I started to grow fond of Asuka, especially when she called him an idiot. I started to see it like the movie "Princess Bride" where the hero would always reply to the Princess with "As you wish..." meaning "I love you".

My twisted little mind started translating Asuka's constant "idiot" remarks as "my love" or "honey" to Shinji.
