The new Eva seems really cool, but something tells me that it's only gonna have a short appearance in the show...

I finally saw the clips. (well 2 of them). Eva vs. Sachiel. It seems they weren't lying when they said at times it would be a shot for shot remake of the original. There's maybe 4 or 5% percent difference in the TV Series and this aside from prettier animation (the new funkier arm regeneration is badass. And it was glorious to hear the seiyu's for Misato, Ritsuko, Fuyutsuki and Maya back).

The Ramiel clip. Oh my god. They did make it kick ass. Though that didn't sound like Megumi Ogata as Shinji. She sounded....different.

Yeah, that's the thing. We just have to hold out for that dvd release. No one wants to risk getting caught at the theater. DVD ripping, on the other hand, Rebuild 01 will be out sooner then....a....very fast Ritsuko.

Btw, it seems like the Russians always have the new info ahead of us??

Any word at all on the Japanese DVD release? RoE is still in cinemas - when does it end it's run at the theatre?

Haha, yeah, that does seem to be the way it works!

It's not that. I just don't want to watch some crappy rip from a cell phone or handheld camcorder. The quality will suck and ruin it for me.

The first chapter has no surprises storyline wise so the big thing is how it looks. And I am not going to orgasm all over the board after watching a crappy rip that doesn't even illustrate how much better Rebuild 1.0 is graphically.

If it ain't quality I don't give a shit about it.

The quality of these cams are actually fairly decent. Compared to the cams of the trailer back some time earlier.

But I hear what you're sayin.

Personally, the cams aren't that bad. But seeing Rebuild once, I would rather wait for a DVD rip than a cam rip. If you can hold out long enough for a DVD rip, then it will be worth it. If you watch some cam rip, it would just ruin the experience (in a way).

Was able to watch it thanks to Youtube since my computer hates me when it comes to watching some avi files. >_<

Pretty cool and the subbing's accurate, wouldn't mind seeing that translation when it's brought over here. (Dunno if I could afford getting my hands on the R2 DVD of it.)

I must admit that the Angels letting out blood/LCL as they die is fucking awesome, same with Ramiel's battle as Angel of Doom plays in the background.
