I thought this was interesting.

Well she is my favorite code geass character, but I also think code geass is one of the most over rated anime of the previous decade.

Both 80's lists are made of win, as far as I'm concerned. There are a few characters I'd rearrange/add/subtract but it's nothing rage inducing. I'd add Priss from Bubblegum Crisis somewhere on the women's list, though. Probably oust that bitch Akane Tendo in favor of Miss Priss. It's a smile.

and what I've seen of 11-20 range there's been some dan great titles like Kimi ni Todoke that hit 12 or 13 IIRC

Really, Cagalli? The most blatant example of "Get back in the kitchen, woman!" in Destiny?

Or do they not count Destiny, because that's the only way.

Comparing Cagalli from SEED to Destiny is like comparing American Women Rights to Islamic rights.

I've never seen a character so broken down and neutered from a previous appearance. She was a decent-willed tomboy that took charge when she had to, and then became a doormat for everyone to step on and then become useless anyway in the end.

More like 2 episodes, then she's like "Hey, Mu. I'm too lazy to be in the final fight, so here's the Gundam my dad died to give me. Kthnxbai" I mean for heaven's sake, her only battle with Akatsuki ended with Shinn cutting off her arm.

Lunamari sucks for being Shinn's...whatever.
