I got my Evangelion 1.01 DVD!

I was checking out Funimation's site, and the clips they have of the movie are the bright ones that I remember from 1.11. Is this accurate, or does the DVD that you bought still have the really dark images like the original 1.01?

But yeah, the lack of any Evangelion related features truly is disappointing.

Good to know that is 1.01 as advertised (similar to how 1.0 really was shown in U.S. theaters).

If the color and brightness weren't all problematic, it wouldn't be 1.01.

Yes you can flip the cover around. The Rei and Shinji cover is vastly superior than big angry CG Unit 01.

Oh well, it's still nice to have Evangelion 1.0 in the states, even if at parts you won't be able to tell what the hell is going on.

I still can't wait for 1.11, no darkness problems on first time Evangelion's on blu-ray.
