Wish I could go. I'm attending a different panel; but rest assured, something that big will be filmed. It's in West Hall, and they always film the stuff in there.

Actually, now that I check, if they don't clear the room between panels, I could probably make it in and report back. Even if I don't, though, since it's in West Hall, it might even be streamed. I don't actually know about that for sure, but it'll be worth checking.

I have my broom ready if all goes wrong today. I can't see them not talking about it, but I couldn't see them not talking about it last Expo so.....
I mean, predictability is the central attraction and the narrative hook that we've all come to expect from the Evangelion franchise. How come Anno can't realize this? Twice? - FreakyFilmFan4ever

I dunno, I'm starting to agree the problem could be Khara's end (as much as it sucks to admit that) than Funi proper.

If the problem is with Khara, I wonder what it could be that’s preventing them from letting Funi release the film. Is it the whole “we’re working closely with the director” mandate when Anno is busy with a Godzilla movie that’s slated to come out next year?

Pfft there was almost nothing of interest from Funi let alone 3.0. Think about this, we got Legend of the Galactic Heroes from Sentai, Gundam 079/Z/ZZ/V/X from RightStuff, but we can't even get a release of 3.0!?

Well, lets see what happens at that Bang Zoom thing, but I'm not going to expect anything. I really hope SOMEBODY gets the TV Blu-Rays.

....Shit, too bad I couldn't go along with my original plan way back when of "SSD buys the Japanese NTE BDs only" (RL--including lack of disposable income--got in the way).

God damn it. Though Funi did say it would be at the tail end of this year or early next, but if they were you'd think they would have at least gave us a definite release date by now. Meh.

Funimation- No but we can tell you that we will be releasing DBZ for the 304th time and now it is remastered on VHS.

Actually, they can't even do that. Dragon Ball Super premiers in 10 minutes and they haven't even been able to license it.
