Not quite the same thing, since most of those times people are requesting fairly broad information that's a couple of search terms away from bringing up entire relevant conversations, and is not so specific as "why did X poster decide upon Y position in Z discussion".

I don't think this is part of the title, this is just a correct way to translate the "advance notice / 予告 / yokoku" Kanji from the series and the previous movies, which always appeared before the teaser of the next Episode/Movie.
I guess, they went with just NEXT this time, because they revealed the English title, not the Japanese one.

I think 3.0+1.0 is a great title. It's so interesting and let's me have so much fun trying to search information about it/understand it. It reflects Evangelion perfectly in that regard.

Well, “Neon Genesis” isn’t a clickable link. I don’t know if that’s because Khara doesn’t own the rights to the original show or not, but even then you’d think that it would at least link back to a GAINAX page about NGE if it were relevant to the rest of the links presented in the site.

Well, if you want to get technical, they only added 'Neon Genesis'. 'Evangelion' is missing, but that may or may not be significant in some way.

We shouldn’t really find it interesting that they’ve included “Neon Genesis” in there, nor should we find it in support of the Sequel Theory. I mean, the website, which is owned by Anno & Co., is called evangelion.co.jp, and should therefore reflect all of Anno’s involvements in the franchise regardless of any continual or canonic value they may or may not have had with one another. It would be like seeing both versions of Cecil B. DeMille's The Ten Commandments in the same place. There no relivancy they would have to one another outside of the certain properties they share as being similar ideas being revisited by an artist.

If sequel theory turns out to be real, I'm going to have a lot of words to eat... but it's still interesting that NGE is now listed. Perhaps it's there just to show the chronological order these things were being produced in.

The site is called just evangelion.co.jp, not Rebuild, not Shin Gekijoban, just "evangelion." Thus, it contains all official Anno-helmed Eva content. He's probably been trying to get the full rights from Gainax for some time to amass his whole output.

Maybe one of the reasons it's taking so long for Final to come out is because they are trying to get the rights for NGE from Gainax because they want to make Rebuild a sequel or prequel?
