so it hasnt been translated yet because some one told me that
"Asuka will be forced to pilot unit-06 and that when it gets to central dogma Asuka will beg Shinji to kill her" but im 100% calling this BS.

Yeah, it's best not to believe anything unless it has a valid source/confirmed translation from Japanese.

I remember around the time of 2.0 premiering in theaters (maybe before) there was a wild rumor that the 2.0 summary consisted of Asuka and Mari arriving separately(?) in Japan, Mari doing better than Asuka at piloting and Asuka going into a rage/jealously killing Mari during an Angel battle... (Which, funny enough, Mari being a better pilot than Asuka was a possible scenario idea revealed in Complete Records Collection: http://forum.evageeks.org/viewtopic.php?t=10604 but it was obviously scrapped.)

Im willing to wager the opening scene of 3.0 will be something to do with Asuka's mental journey from Bardy's contamination to waking up on the slab. I think there will be some subtle cues from #22.

Im sure all, something or nothing will be revaled in the coming weeks :P

It will be great to actually get some concrete evidence about 3.0!

As for an opening scene of 3.0- I hypothesize it will be a flashback to when Yui was absorbed by Unit 01 in front of a 4 year old Shinji & we'll get to see it all happen in gruesome (& pretty) detail. It's a scene previously unseen in the Eva universe & it would bring Yui- a barely touched upon character as of yet- immediately to the forefront.
But that's just my thought.

Anywho, can't wait. One week to go for a hopeful release date! .... followed by a year to 18 months of waiting for a quality release on home video...
