Kaji's engrish made me lol so hard, Mari was perfectly fine, in fact, I thought it suited her and was very cute :3

When I first played Tales of Vesperia and heard the Ring A Bell intro, I thought it was a song written by an American for the North American release. I was stunned to hear the singer was Japanese. In a good way.

These were my exact reactions, too. Kaji was so cool in NGE, and in 2.22 he just comes off as comic relief for me. Hopefully he gets some good scenes in 3.0 to make up for all the ones stolen from him in 2.0, otherwise people aren't going to care when he inevitably snuffs it.

and honestly, i think the baaaaad engrish made me love him even more. especially if it turns out they did it on purpose-- how many other super secret agents do you know who can't speak english to save their lives? only kaji.

i think if kaji dies in rebuild (which is absolutely NOT going to happen, but hypothetically speaking...), this might be the one to actually make me cry.
