EM, do you know what day and time the NGE panel will be held?

This is one big reason I will be making the 3 hour drive down to attend Otakon 2005. 8)

I'll only be able to attend Friday late morning and early Saturday so I am hoping the panel will occur sometime between then.

I don't know. Convention program changes on a whim. Often times, I don't know prior to the convention itself. If I know before hand, it's only a week beforehand, tops. If I find out when, it will be mentioned. Keep in mind, Otakon is still 2 months away, programming is no where near set.

Previously, my panels were on Saturday. I requested either friday or saturday, during the afternoon or evening. And I would expect the panel to be Saturday afternoon or evening.

Whether you catch the panel or not, I'll be wandering around being geeky. I may post a time and place where people will find me, I'm not likely to attend many events, simply wandering around socializing and being an Eva geek. Whether you catch me or not, I hope you enjoy your trip to Otakon.

Yeah...silly me...of course programming won't be finalized until just before the convention starts. :?

Thanks. This will be my first trip to Otakon and from what I hear, this is one of the best Cons to attend on the East Coast if not the US. I look forward to it.

In any case, it would be cool to try and meet up with you for a little while. I guess Reichu and Otaprince should be there as well. It would be nice to meet a few other hardcore Eva geeks.

I wouldn't go so far as to consider myself a member of the forums yet, but I will be at Otakon for at least Saturday/Sunday. If I get really ambitious and can find a cheap slip near the Convention Center, I might even bring my sailboat up for the duration...

Yowzers! I've never been to Otakon but I have been to a few conventions of varying sizes...1000 to 3000 in size and they felt pretty big. Now, picture Otakon and potentially 20,000 people! If I feel it will be sensory overload for me I can only imagine what your Con-virgin-senses will be going through.

I'm not the type of man to walk around caked in his own filth. In the summer I shower twice a day if I can, sometimes. I hate to be sweaty.

Ugh. I assume you went to the one at UMD? I'll be in the area next week for a friend's wedding and plan on attending Saturday's pre-screening. I hope the Otador isn't present.
