Fanmade storyboards based off Sadamoto's manga

[Angel of Will]

Project title: "Tearless Eyes and Ashen Skies."

If you don't notice, this is a story-board project in my own style of Sadamoto's manga. I planned on animating the chapter, but I did these before Christmas vacation and haven't worked on them since. (Too many things going on to do so). I might ditch this to animate an Evangelion music video featuring Mad World, and/or illustrate an Orchestrating the Silence doujin, since it would have more novelty than reworking an existing manga that can already be visually appreciated. As I said, I'm pretty busy, so don't expect anything out of me until Summer comes.

I can't wait until I'm a full-on adult with a regular job. That way I can actually allocate my free time in a regular manner and enjoy a fun, long project like that. Making a doujinshi would be like my version of making a boat in my garage for no reason.

I thought a specific thread would be appropriate for a series of work, since a series/project is something meant to be updated. If it was a standalone, I would post it in the fan-art sticky. Of course, down the line, a peeved admin will easily convince me otherwise.

Currently, I'm working on cover art for Orchestrating the Silence. I just finished the second draft, which will be followed by an inking. Once I have some final line-work I'm satisfied with, I'll make another thread and post the progress, and will continue to use that thread for work done on the doujin when the time comes (after cover art, it's rough storyboards for Chapter 1). I figure people may be interested in the work process, especially since serious progress on such a project won't be seen for long periods of time for the reasons I've posted at the top.

Looks very realistic, the use of graphite you have makes such definitive lines. While the style is very good, the only thing that bothers me is that it doesint look like evangelion. But thats how i allways am, ive strived to make my work look like sadamoto's especially when i draw eva. But you definately have a talent, dont let nitpickers like me bother you.

I can definitely mimic Sadamoto's style; I just chose not to, since I liked the idea of practicing my own in this project (the same goes for the doujin I'm working on, but since it's in the early stages, such is not obvious).
