Shinji is looking awfully manly and grown-up in the picture; I didn't recognize him at first. I'm loving the Rei though!

I've considered making my own thread on this subforum for my submitted arts, but I don't think I would post frequently enough for it to really be worth it.

I started this drawing while supervising kids at my local church. (That's how I generally get most of my drawings started.) I really wanted to pay extra attention to the detail on the head of the subject and spend time exploring all of its nooks and crannies.

Her outfit (especially her classic black dress) forms to her body's curves, which might be why it looks like a Plug Suit.

Shinji however has no excuse. Even if in a Plug Suit, those curves look quite dramatic. And something about the way he's carrying his shoulders reminds me of an adult, more likely in a government job; a job such as Nerv. Woman's curves? Nerv employee? Resembles Shinji? That's got to be Maya!

I started it on Sunday at around 11:30 AM. Didn't really touch it at all on Monday, then just gradually worked on it Tuesday and Wednesday. Finished it Wednesday night at around 9:00 PM.

Haha! I guess so, huh? I was attempting at Shinji. The smaller res kinda accentuates the curves more than I thought it would.

I was drawing a pretty good 02 as well but I hate those horn things so they are gone.

Shinji looks like he's about to either go super saiyan or morph into a Japanese Sweet Tooth wannabe (Actually, on close inspection, he's got a Steve Fox thing going for him with that hairdo)

but Rei, on the other hand, looks great
