An update. It's growing.

SPOILER: Show

Once all the Viz 3-in-1s are out, I can trade away my CY/Madman tanks - Will definitely free up a little space then. And now just waiting on the Revo Mark.09 in September and Madman's 3.33 BD release...

Quite content with the Eva portion of my bookshelf.

Don't need to do that; they still look good.

^ Got that Asuka figure myself. There is a higher end version by Kotobukiya that costs more and has a battered looking base but the prize version is still good.

Nah, no need to keep both.
I can free up space, pass them on for someone else to appreciate and get some other reads in the process.

Also preferring the omnibus format in general.

I was cleaning up some things and felt like browsing my Japanese poster collection and forgot I even owned some of these! Figured since they'll go back into storage until I finally order some B2 sized poster frames I might as well photograph them for everyone else to see.

Image

and of course the EoE wiki image poster:

Had posted in the Cash Cow thread... so, trasnferred the bulk here... where it belongs :)

SPOILER: Show

Image
You will learn quickly that I'm largely a fan of Asuka... some may have picked up on that already, depending on where you lurk... Most of my larger figures will be predominantly Asuka, where the minis will be assorted.
Also, love dat Sachiel.
Random UCC can - shit was delicious.

Image
Next level down is the core material. 1-13 of the manga, 1-7 of the collector's edition, 1-3 of the omnibus (4 in the mail), D&R, EoE, Platty set...
1.11 English, 1.01 First print (two of these...), 2.22 English, 2.02 First Print, 3.03 First print.
Then, the side mangas on the end... Haven't finished these series yet, probably going to just splurge and get these any day now... just for the sake of completing.
Would love the Re-Take volumes that are on ebay, but 250... EACH. RAWRGH!

Image
My personal Favorites.
RAH Eva-01, and the New Line 1/5.5 Cold Cast Asuka figure.
Plus, there is the Asuka Test suit version Alter on the end.
RCB, Der Monde, Die Sterne.

Image
Various Stuff and things. Revoltech Eva-01, and Type F Eva-01.
Couple Reis and Asukas... haven't figured out what to do with the bottom couple tiers of my shelves yet...so they are awkward.

Image
See aforementioned awkwardness.

Image
THEN, there is this haul that arrived in the mail today.
Various figures - 10 in total, plus the MP Eva kit (never put one together, I'm in for a treat, aren't I?)

Things not in the pictures:
3 Wall Scrolls of various stuff and things
3 Hats: New Era Eva-01 hat, Nerv cadet hat, Asuka hat from 3.0.
1 Wallet, I carry on my person.
1 Original 1997 movie release EoE poster in Japanese (currently in the mail)

I picked this up this year at Otakon's art auction. Vincent van Gogh "Starry Night" x Evangelion: You Can (Not) Advance.

Life is not so much random chocolates,
as it is a can of sour soda that we open up, and guzzle down.
We know it is sour, but we will drink it anyway.

My order from Eva-T came in last Friday:

SPOILER: Show
Image
Chirashi flyer for that exhibit in Matsuya Ginza thrown in as a bonus, ginger flavored tea (Rei) and apple flavored tea (Kaworu)

Image
Asuka x Saitama Seibu Lions shirt

Image
Stay Real Eva-01 shirt

Image
Eva T Party 2013 shirt

The shirts are for upcoming cons: Japan Expo in a week, where Sadamoto will be at, and Saboten Con the weekend after that, where Yuko Miyamura will be at. Of course I will be wearing all my Asuka shirts at Sabo. Stoked!

luvluv_Penpen helped me get the shirts so if you've been wondering how to get stuff from Japanese websites that won't ship overseas but have been hesitant about using a deputy service, talk to her.

If you search custom oil paintings online you'll find a bunch of sites where you can commission a painting to be made. They use Chinese artists (there's a village in China where basically their main industry is reproduction of famous paintings)., so if you sent them some images and tell them you want it done in the style of Van Gogh they'd probably be able to do something to similar or higher skill level.

I wear a backpack almost everywhere I go, and I figured "why buy a Nerv messenger bag when you can just buy a $3 dollar patch?" I also don't like messenger bags..Anywayyy, now everyone who walks behind me knows I mean business.
I used to work in a factory and I was really happy because I could daydream all day -- I.C.
And thanks to EVA, I've started like myself and that has made me very happy. Mr. Anno, please keep working on EVA a lot more.
and thank you so much for everything!!

There is this: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Music_of_Neon_Genesis_Evangelion No pics though because Wikipedia has gotten stricter about fair use images, which includes album covers.

I do have multiple copies of different things

I would ask why but in my case it was usually because I forgot that I already had x and thus bought another copy, so I set up a website to help keep track of it all. Forum member svenge has set up a comprehensive website covering the Japanese and American video releases if you didn't already know of it.
