Hi!

Im new and would really appreciate the help of the expert opinions on this board.
Im looking to buy either Evangelion JO or Battle Orchestra for PSP, but cant decide which one to buy :dizzy:
I liked the eva 64 game but havnt had any experience playing any other eva games. I dont speak Japanese, and Id like an interesting game but nothing too ridiculous.
Ive spent the last two weeks looking at what reviews/game guides/opinions I can find on the net (including the board posts here), after some time I can see there are pros and cons of both games, some of which as far as I can see are-

Battle Orchestra:
Pros: Easy/Fun to play, A bit different, Doesnt take itself too seriously
Cons: Perhaps a little too ridiculous, Frame rate problems, Stupid AI

Evangelion JO:
Pros: Solid Game, Lots of Features, combination action/adventure (deeper game)
Cons: Difficult to Play, Re-uses up old storyline features from previous game

So I was hoping someone who has played both could help me make a decision on which to buy! Please!
I realise its subjective and they are completely different games but Id really appreciate any opinions. Fun Factor is important to me, but also a game that Id want to spend time with because its interesting

Thanks!!! Any advice would be REAALLLYY appreciated!!

You forgot one thing about Jo that should be mentioned.....If you have a PSP with CFW, JO will NOT play even if you have the UMD.

And I have had a BITCH of a time getting the ISO of Battle Orchestra to run.

I havent played Jo because of the CFW (maybe this'll be resolved with GEN-C coming out soon), but Battle Orchestra has a Smash Bros feel about it, you know an Arcade party fighter.

I got jo working on my cfw(gen-b2, I can't remember) just that you have like less that 5 seconds to press start and start again for new game/continue...so yeah battle orchestra is better that Jo IMO

I got Battle Orchestra working on my Gen-B2...

Gods be damned that game can be cruel (fighting all nine MP Eva three at a time with no compensation)...on the other hand, Touji's surprisingly fun to play as and I can't wait to unlock Kaworu

Ok but beyond whether you could get the game to work or not- which one of the two is actually a better game?? At the moment Im leaning towards JO because it was developed for the psp whereas battle orchestra was a ps2 port and when you compare the ps2 to the psp versions the psp one seems a little inferior...

it's easy, before you start up the game put the psp's volume all the way down and start the game,it should work and after it loads, you can put the volume back up,and on the site psp iso there's a working version of battle orchestra that's already been patched

Why choose Evangelion: Jo or Battle Orchestra, when you have got the impressive "Evangelion 2: Another Cases" on the PSP, which is probably the best Evangelion game ever?
