Does anyone know exactly what issue of Newtype that comes from? And possibly, what exactly the article is about?

Good question, it's a great picture. However, I have a subscription to Newtype USA and have never seen that picture. I have a feeling it's in the Japanese version though. Perhaps in an upcoming issue.

I just looks like some ones fan art of a older Shinji and Asuka with new type added to the top. Fakes like this were going around the net a wile back I remember.

Unless theirs some one here that has conections in Japan that can prove me wrong I say its a fake.

That's not the notation Gainax uses, though. You have to be observant about these things. Otherwise, you'll get tricked into buying bootleg merchandise!

If their was somthing in the Japanese version of new type recently The fan mailing list would have picked up on it. Its probly just a fake pic about a fake eva sequle. These things were as comon a sight as me at a coke machine a wile back.

I'd still say that most likely it's something packaged into a recent Newtype to celebrate NGE's 10-year anniversary. Time will tell.

Austrlia wont see eva plat vol 7 until at least the end of 2005 or beginning of 2006 and then we will have to wait for a whole year to get the box set.

But I am not really complaining becasue I want to get it eventually but I would perfer if it ( the boxset) in a year and half. Because then I can at least justifing why I am getting it and also have enough money to get it
