Good jorb. Was there one volume in particular (volume 9 perhaps?) that was especially difficult to get your hands on? Any interesting anecdotes about the undertaking?

:salute: is called for.

Gave up on finding vol. 9 since I had my head up my ass when it was released and picked up the relevant omnibus to cover it. So what if my Eva manga is now thrown out of whack.

I don't care for Eva-elitists. I don't know everything, and neither do you.

Well technically you don't, since volume 14 isn't out yet, but yeah that one shouldn't be hard to find when it comes out obviously.

And yeah I didn't know any volumes were hard to find either. I remember I got volumes 1-9 all at once, and then bought the remaining ones individually as they came out.

Though I actually sort of regret buying them now, since the manga story doesn't have a lot of reread value IMO. But since I've already gotten 13 volumes, the [s]OCD[/s] completionist in me can't not get volume 14 as well.

Yeah, we all hate Evangelionfreak now. I had to wait until the omnibus in order to read that volume.

Well I have 2 copies of the Japanese version (one came with a Rei figure) I bought an english copy when it was first published. A friend got me a copy for my birthday a year later since it had kaworu on it and I bought 2 copies in 2011 when the Borders near my house went out of business as well as 2 additional copies of volume 11. Hell they were like 2 bucks and I can always use more Kaworu related things.

please don't hate me I had no idea they were that rare :sniffle:

Clearly vol9 is hard to find because evangelionfreak is trying to corner the market.

Well, congrats on finding them anyway. You should be obscenely proud to have two copies of it for as cheap as you found them.

Grats! :D I remember volume 9 was such a pain to get, I admit to paying much more than I should have for my copy and I refuse to take it out of the plastic sleeve-thingy it was shipped in. o.o Nowadays I'm wishing I had kept some of the older volumes in better condition, since its just about impossible to find anything earlier than volume 12 in my local area.
