Wasn't that what most of you did back when the debate of RD vs Revo?

Ah, them were the days... sigh. ;) To be honest I find myself less concerned by the prospect of no more RD Evas. Obviously I'd buy them in flash if Bandai ever got off their arse and decided to do some more but the improved quality of these new Revoltechs means I'm no longer desperate for Bandai's alternatives. Didn't think I'd ever see myself write that sentence but Revoltech have done a fine job of upping their game, plus there's always the medicom Evas (if you can afford them, which I usually can't).

Personally I'm going to display the Mark09 with head and scythe, It does kind of bother my OCD a little bit, 09 didn't have head by the time it wielded the scythe after all, but the nubby neck just isn't as cool.

Payment advise email from AmiAmi can't be too far away now, Mark.09's release date is this weekend IIRC!

Scythe pics. I guess I can preorder it....but only because the scythe looks neat. Otherwise its just another 00. The giant eyeball moving is gross.

I like that it moves...its just 1/3 of its head in 3.0. Nobody needs an eye that big!

Oh man, the head and upper body detail on the Mark.09 RAH is ridiculously good.

I just hope they fix up the legs and calves which looked really clunky in the last picture set they put up. Could bet it just comes down to being really unflattering photos too.

Not too far away now.
Not too far away at all!

:D

Going to look super smexy on the shelf alongside its Revoltech brethren and SHMonsterArts figures...

I actually much prefer the chunk of the mark.09. The first few units were very tall and lanky even for an eva. The 3.0 RAHs don't seem so stretched out.

Went ahead and ordered the Bandai 02'γ and 08β kits. Just gave in to the craving. Even if I already have dozens and dozens of kits I must have MOAR.

At this point I'm about 99% certain those kits are made with 8+2 in mind but I'm sure Japan will either confirm or dispel that before I ever get mine. End up september hurry the hell up.

That's what makes Mark.09 sexy. Always loved that scene in the movie. If I had the money, I'd buy the figure in a heart beat.

did anyone else who has looked at the review pics on amiami's blog (the link above) picked up on the last sentence in the review which is "In the near future we have the Beast Mode of EVA Kai Type-02 to look forward to--and more fan service as well!" is this somthing that has been confirmed and i missed it or is the reviewer just wish and hopeing like the rest of us?! anybody??

oh and btw i just put 2 and 2 together and noticed that Seele one is the same dude on youtube who i watched all his eva reviews last year before deciding to to get the revos, so to mr selle one i say a huge thanks :)

I was to busy reading that strange 'ol English that blogger fellow used, son...
But in any case we can hope all those other Evas... Revoltech will make them all... And re-make them again before final...
Anyhow I won't be happy until we have a rocket for Mark 09 :irked:

Yeah there was a few strange phrasing and Word choices throughout that review. I also would enjoy a rocket pack Mark 09 but thundercat unit 02 is my must have to feel half complete, only 100% complete if someone makes a painted AAA wunder, then I will be a very happy chappy haha (the model kit atm is just not doing it for me)

You do great reviews man you helped making my choice to get revo evas an easy one :)

Yeah got the payment advise Friday night I think and received shipping notification late last night. Seems they put in some late hours at the AmiAmi order fulfillment warehouse, haha - Only an hour's difference in time zones with here and there considered...

The new photos on their blog have me so hyped for 09 though.
Looks fucking mint!

Kit is tiny - I need something to scale with the Revos.

I'll hang it from the ceiling, and it will be glorious.

:cringe:
If it where in scale, where the 16cm of a Revo are the 80 meters of an Eva, then the 1916m of the Wunder[ref] would make a 3.83m (12.5 feet) model

That would cost (using a rule of 3 with Revo price and cm sizes) nearly 840 bucks... :crazytwirl:
