Hate to kill your enthusiasm, but it's highly unlikely. I couldn't really see them doing something like that before Final is released. Even if it would be a new anime series, they would announce in an anime magazine such as Newtype or some other major publication (for example, when the Renewal version was announced, Gainax made that annoucement with a full-page ad in a major newspaper).
