I think the Najica Blitz Tactics release had a panty counter

Cowboy Bebop eps. 5 and 6:

Spike vs. Vicious = EPIC AWESOME! :woohoo: Plus Faye in a KNOCKOUT dress, even more SEXY AWESOME! :fap: As for the child killer, felt weird in a bit of an icky way but the graphics on that hyperspace thingy were amazing.

Have you really not watched Cowboy Bebop before? Well, it's good that you're catching up now. It's a treat right up to the end (and I like the film, which is like an extended episode).

Meh, not worse than any other season. I'm watching nearly every show coming out but I have nothing interesting to say about any of them. I wish every season had a Kill la Kill, an anime that just gets everybody talking about it, that's always fun.

Anyway, the new Garo season is so inferior to the previous one it's almost physically hurting me. The stories have been improving a bit and I'm starting to warm up to the characters but the action remains atrocious. It consists mostly-standing still-one slash-enemy dead.
The only show I'm always looking forward to watch now is the new Gundam. Even Subete Ga F has become rather dull to me, especially after the absolutely insane reveals on the last episode.

Sakurako-san and Owarimonogatari are great, haven't looked into much else. Open to other recommendations to try -- there are always so many options it's hard to tell what's worth spending time on.

I first saw bits of it when Adult Swim would air it years ago, then i bought the movie but i barely remember it. I'm more attracted to the tv stories myself.

Naruto episode 1:

Given that ninjas are not usually my thing, it was a mixed bag. The action and comedy bits were nice and the English voice actors give it their all, but the plot for an intro episode won't attach to you if you don't identify with the world surrounding it.

Black Lagoon: Roberta's Blood Trail episode 5:

With the closing of this chapter of what hopefully won't be the end of the franchise, i can safely say that this arc was my favorite of all that came before it. That is not to say that it didn't come with it's share of creepy moments like the flashback to Revy's past *disgusting rape ugh* and Garcia kissing Roberta on the lips when the battle is over. The latter i would say is icky because of the age gaps between the two.

I'm enjoying both of those, and also Mobile Suit Gundam - Iron-blood Orphans.

The film probably works better when you're already well into the show, I think.

I wouldn't call it bad, but compared to the fall season last year, which was excellent, this season is pretty much meh. Me, I'm watching Gundam IBO and The Perfect Insider. The latter, if you're not watching it already, might interest you as there supposed to be some computer programming inside jokes in it.

Eureka Seven episode 5:

WTF?! I just came off of one count of incest rape on Black Lagoon and now courtesy of Talho, we get one count of attempted rape?! :cringe: I just can't seem to escape it. As for the Renton hazing, it seems perfectly all right when adults do it but when the little brats do it, it comes off as annoying. Did those kids come from a Tomino orphanage or something?

The Seven Deadly Sins - This was probably the best show I've seen all year. Plenty of action and plenty of great characters, reminded me somewhat of Akame ga Kill or Sword Art Online but with a much faster pace. No part of it seemed boring and it was easy to get into.

Kimi Ni Todoke - Something different than I normally watch but am enjoying it so far. The comedy in it is great (especially the creepy Sadako parts), but the awkward romance between the main characters is enough to make anyone cringe :cringe:
Ah! High school memories.

The Komori-san can't decline show mentioned earlier, I dropped before the first episode was finished, I don't think I need to explain why.

Ain’t a number high enough, brother.

You think wrong. Explain why.

@topic- Triage X – Oy, its been a while since a toon made me as angry as this one did.

Think of a classic B movie such as Hard ticket to Hawaii, and then strip it of all its cheese, charm and humour. This is Triage X.
All we’re left with is guns, tits and HOTD character designs. I happen to like these things, but lordy- this show manages to suck the fun out of all of them.

Only 10 episodes. Kind of odd, that.

Young Black Jack is very watchable. So very easy to watch. And it’s got a hot nurse (or doctor/ whatever it is she’s interning for) too, always a plus.

Episode two- Oh dear, this is a sticky situation, I wonder how our hero will get out of this one… guess I’ll have to see in the next episode… wait a minute, this isn’t a two-parter? … THAT was the solution? Bloody ridiculous. I love it.

I've seen all of Eureka 7 (the first TV series anyway), and I don't remember that.

...To be fair, I remember very little of Eureka 7.

Goes like this, drunk Talho confronts three punks trying to steal the combat LFO she, Renton, and Hilda came into to do supply shopping. One of them recognizes her and takes a photograph which sets her off so she breaks the camera. Renton commandeers another LFO to stop them and while two of them are distracted fighting him, the other holds down Talho to the ground and nearly kisses her but Holland steps in and saves her. Hence the "attempted rape".

I enjoy Eureka 7 more in hindsight than while actually watching it. I admire it for its ambition, but for all the verve it tried to convey, it never really felt like it gained momentum. Like a flooring a car while forgetting to release the handbrake.

I'm watching Blood-Ironed Orphans which is the third series I became bored with after an incredibly interesting start (the other two being Turn A and G Reco).
I'm watching Owarimonogatari, which has some of the strongest Episodes in the series to date. I'm kinda surprised how much I've grown to love this series, considering it one of my favourites now - while when first watching it the wacky direction was the only thing keeping me intrigued enough to keep watching it.
I'm watching Noragami Aragoto, which is the best Shonen I've ever seen. Great characters and story, and most importantly doesn't feel the need to elaborate on every little story-beat for entire Episodes. It offers very competent direction at a brisk pace, while keeping me engaged with endearing characters. Definitely a huge step up from the first Episodes.

Irrational in some ways, but not unpredictable. It was pretty much telegraphed for 3 episodes, at least since we saw the flashback of Shiki killing her parents, and later seeing her "sister" in a white dress, visiting her old room calling to the robot by name.

Without even thinking on the hexadecimal portion, which didn't even come into play until last episode, I already figured out what the reveals would be.

SPOILER: Show
The parents were killed because they had the power to force Shiki to get an abortion. "Perfect insider" was a reference to the child she was carrying.

Shiki was referenced as if appearing to be "15" because she was 15. It was her daughter fronting as her, further backed by how they said many episodes earlier that she had only started to make appearances recently.

And then there was that boring ass Engrish conversation Sensei had with the "Sister". It was a chore to listen to, and by the end, it was clear the only really significant portion of it, besides it's harping once again on Shiki's Sartre-esce reference to the body as a "vessel" or "doll", was where the sister said "I have a feeling that we will speak again" as if there was some sort of intent behind it.

Kind of pissed at this episode, because for a moment, it seemed to be dumping
SPOILER: Show
the "Shiki is the killer idea" for just having the daughter be the one instead, which didn't seem to fit what was presented.
Only to switch back and say "yes, this is Magata Shiki." Well thanks for yanking my chain. :impatient:

"the Dr is a genius, there was no way we could keep up."

Nonsense, you just spent too much time on number theory and not enough thinking on your weird English conversation with the sister in the purple dress.

Though I'll admit, I missed the detail about the students leaving on the ship, as I had long since forgotten how many of them there were.

...I'll also admit, that I have no bloody idea why she did all this.

SPOILER: Show
The "sister" said that the room was her perfect working space, where she had been the happiest all her life, so why leave it? And if the plan to have her daughter kill both her parents and live on wasn't a viable anymore, then why go all the way and kill the director? What was the point of doing that now?

Did she just want to match wits with someone like Saikawa-Sensei? To find someone who could approach her own intelligence? As that's the only thing I can think of.

I honestly don't know what to make of that show at this point. Her motivations are all over the map and completely self-contradictory, to the point where I'm finding the whole thing to be a terrible letdown.
