We see her show intrest in toji.

Do we have any instance ofer her showing intrest in Asuka before the
"troubled sleep over"

Never was, just an over analyzation. A very good one though, never would have thought of it that way. But there isn't evidence to back it up.

Hikari is class rep = prestige

They each make the most obvious candidates for the other to have association with in order to boost their individual positions in the social pecking order.

Shizuma had an awesome rack in StoPanic (as did Yaya), and Mei in Manabi Straight had a pretty nice pair too, given the loli-ish character designs in that series.

Alas poor thread. In an attempt to get back on topic, when exactly do we first see Asuka and Hikari as a duo? Offhand I can't recall precisely when this is made obvious, though I suspect it was as late as episode #12, during the party.

I agree with what somebody else said; unless there's a clear attempt at kissing a person or whatever, the character doesn't have a crush on another. Thought that was obvious.

No. They're just friends. I thought we established a few pages ago in this thread that there is no yuri aspect to their relationship (both are depicted as attracted to pretty overtly masculine guys i.e. Toji and Kaji), so why are we still kicking around this non-issue?
