Actually, I wrote them, I'm Kojiro Abe.
I can understand why you wouldn't want Felton as Kaworu due to his involvement with Harry Potter and all (though a lot of fans I've talked to like my suggestion). I just picture a badass British Kaworu for some reason and I'm convinced Felton could pull that off.
As for Asia Argento, what's so bad about her playing Misato? She's not what I would call a bad actress plus she's damn hot. Besides, she's Dario Argento's daughter, I mean, how cool can you get being the offspring of somebody as awesome as Dario.

I don't really picture Kaworu as being a character who would suit being British. German, maybe, or Japanese if not. I'm British, and tha would just seem wrong to me.

With regards to Asia Argento... she's just not my idea of Misato. Misato is a playfull, vulnerable kind of sexy, whereas asia is just sultry and smouldering.

Ever seen Xenosaga? There's already a black Kaworu. His name is chaos. :)

And, come to think of it, Sera from Megaman Legends kinda looks like a black Rei with light green hair instead of blue.

Call me racist if you must, but I don't think either of those two should be black. Anybody but those two. Black Shinji? That just might work. Touji, maybe? Then he'd match his Eva. Fuyutsuki could be black. If Ian McKellen (sp?) doesn't play him, I think Morgan Freeman should.

Rei & Kaworu are supposed to be very mysterious, ghostlike characters, & personally, I think it works better if they're pale. Pale is more spooky.

Although, I guess they could be black albinos like that guy from that one episode of The X Files. Hmm...that WOULD be spooky.

On a completely unrelated subject, I think Marg Helgenberger (Catherine from CSI) would make a great Ritsuko or Naoko.

I don't get the Hatorade. Dakota Fanning is a great young actress and will be just the right age by the time they start filming this. You gotta admit, she's a hell a lot better a choice than some of the ghastly choices I've heard suggested for the role, like Hillary Duff, Mary Kate Olsen and Lindsay Lohan.
