View Original PostHoly Diver wrote:After playing the campaign, I feel that my ideal factions are either the Terrans or the Protoss because they seem like the most conventional of the three. Plus the Terrans have Thor, which is probably the most broken unit ever. The campaign was won virtually by default after I unlocked it.

I'm still not quite sure if I'm ready for multiplayer yet though. Maybe after a few practice matches against the harder A.I. enemies and my RL friends would help prepare me.

I honestly believe that Terran is the most well rounded race to play with. That being said, American's tend to be the best Protoss players, and Korean's tend to be the best Zerg players. I haven't really heard much info on who are the best Terran players.

I am a Terran player because I just love the way the play. I do A LOT of early harass, and late harass. Standard M&M&M is too good.

I've been getting better with Zerg, but it's an uphill battle...

Zurg is small time. That's why I always play as Buzz Lightyear.

Yep, I've seen it and enjoyed it. Quite unusual ending I shall say.

p.s. HD's and Husky's commentaries are awesome. Go see some on their youtube channels.

So, SC2 is finally out, and yet no one has made a SC/Red Alert crossover yet?

...for the hell of it? Fuck, I'd do it. I remember seeing a mockup of a bunch of Zerg attacking a Soviet base, with Apocalypse Tanks moving to defend the base.

So terran FINALLY gets a nerf. I play terran and even I think this was long past overdue.
Some thoughts:

-Zealot nerf probably due to 2-gate in PvZ, an incredibly strong opening build that is very difficult to defend on the zerg side due to the fact that zerglings are significantly worse against zealots than in SC1. Warpgate nerf in a similar vein with the 4-gate + proxy pylon rushes being quite strong.

-5 rax reapers is far too good against zerg. Why reapers (supposedly a harass unit) has a building killing attack is beyond me but it allows terran to forcedly delay zerg's natural expansion (or possibly destroy it which is an instant gg right there) as well as force roaches, a generally unfavorable direction in the tech tree. I rather have Blizzard remove the building attack instead of increasing build time but w/e.

-And ah the much hated seige tank. Imba 13 range, imba splash, imba targeting AI (no overkill). They finally decided to revert back to its SC1 roots of killing certain types of units instead of killing everything. Would prefer the damage to be something more like 25+35 armored to make the tank a more strictly anti-armor unit but I guess the marauder handles that well.

-BC nerf (lol why) and Ultra nerf/buff not too important as both are extremely high tier units and are not seen as often.

Overall a good patch. Looking forward to testing out the changes.

wow cool time capsule only wish their was a better sense of community in game so I could make some online friends. zerg issues set aside, it was fun besides I'm sure those issues will be shot lived anyway.
